THE TRUTH IS STRANGER THAN FICTION
BUT FICTION IS NO STRANGER TO TRUTH
In 1893, an Inuk baby from Nunatsiavut. Labrador named Nancy Columbia Palmer Eneutseak was born in a fake igloo at a human zoo at the Chicago World's Fair. Born into spectacle, viewed as a curiosity by the colonial gaze, she was named not by sacred ceremony but by contest for the right to confer her identity, assign her validity, and confine her place. But such cages were never meant to hold her.

Ectopia is an evolving transmedia worldbuilding and immersive participatory artwork spanning physical installation, virtual environments, projection, digital interactivity, non-linear narratives, generative soundscapes, sculpture through responsive and analogue interfaces Visitors enter through multiple portals, follow intersecting pathways, inhabiting shifting roles and states of consciousness as they explore The Mothership Persephone, its archives, mythologies, scientific systems, and off-world potential.
Rather than imagining new worlds through conquest or terraforming, Ectopia explores relational Indigeneity, symbiosis, and reciprocal adaptation: how bodies, consciousnesses, technologies and environments might transform through consensual encounter. Moving between physical and virtual realms, visitors generate their own trajectory through emergent intelligences, speculative environment and multi-sensory states of awareness, where no single perspective, medium, or mode of engagement holds primacy.

A digital counter-anatomy to techno-natalism, this graphic art collection integrates feminist futurism, DIY biohacking, queer ecology, and crip poetics. Each neo-organ prototype in the series imagines a reproductive architecture unmoored from utility, in which the womb is no longer a site of extraction or expectation. These neo-organs are not designed to produce children, but to incubate autonomy and midwife refusal. In a world obsessed with viability, they are proxies for futures the world is not yet ready to carry.
